2007 ERISA Conference

The July Business Services ERISA Conference is a unique training event hosted by July and led by a national ERISA expert. This year we are expanding our popular annual conference to meet growing demand. We are offering the same technical ERISA training for retirement plan administrators as in years past, and offering a new component focused exclusively on the education needs of financial consultants. The ERISA Workshop will be held at the Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas and will begin with registration and breakfast at 7am and will conclude at 3:45 pm.

Speakers

Charles D. Lockwood, J.D., and L.L.M. (Taxation)
Mr. Lockwood has over 15 years experience in the employee benefits field. Mr. Lockwood presently is a principal of Global Benefit Advisors, L.L.C., a pension consulting firm. Mr. Lockwood was previously a Vice President of Pension Publications of Denver, Inc. (PPD) and a senior consultant with Coopers & Lybrand's Human Resources National Technical Services Unit in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Lockwood worked for 5 years in the Employee Plans Division in the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Tax Law Specialist. His responsibilities with the IRS included the review of prototype retirement plans and the training of IRS personnel. Mr. Lockwood was also the primary author of numerous IRS Revenue Rulings and Revenue Procedures, including Rev. Procs. 89-9 and 89-13 which established the current Master/Prototype and Regional Prototype Programs.

Mr. Lockwood has written numerous articles and lectured extensively on employee benefits topics.

Mr. Lockwood received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of South Florida, his J.D. from the University of Florida, and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Jim Hudson
Mr. Hudson is President and CEO of July and has over 25 years experience providing administration services to qualified retirement plans. Hudson has a background in income tax planning and compliance, and he has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Baylor University. He is a frequent speaker on retirement plan topics for financial consultants and other industry organizations, and has been a past speaker at U.S. Department of Labor training sessions.

Blake Willis
Mr. Willis is Chief Administrative Officer of July with more than 10 years of industry experience, including plan administration, plan design and document consulting. Willis is a magna cum laude graduate of Baylor University with a Masters of Accountancy degree and teaches in the Accounting Department at Baylor University.
